The Clinical Skills Program and Clinical Practicum is for graduates of the Community Herbalist Program. This program is focused on clinical skills, case studies, and intake and assessment skills. The clinical practicum is an opportunity to put the skills that you have learned into practice, supporting clients (often with complex health needs) in a supervised and supported environment. Whether you already have experience seeing clients or conducting intakes is new for you, this is an opportunity to grow your skills in intake, assessment, formulation, specific indications of herbs, nutrition, and supplementation, applied harm reduction, herb/drug interactions, and trauma informed care.
Applicants who have completed other courses of study but whose experience best matches the Clinical Program vs the Community Herbalist Program will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Email [email protected] with inquiries.
