I am so grateful to have been a part of this program. The focus on trauma informed care and individual constitution was so informative and eye opening! Jean's way of communicating their experience working in a clinical setting with a variety of different clients is a great resource for the budding clinical herbalism student! They were able to give an extensive view into what the reality is of practicing with folks one on one -- giving each person the quality care every practitioner should strive for --Amandajean, she/her

"A trauma informed practice and a solid social justice analysis isn't just useful or nice to add to your herbal or healing practice, it's essential for anyone is serious about striving to do no harm in healing work. This program provides much needed space for aspiring or new practitioners to become conversant with and begin to embody these concepts. Thank you Jean!" (2019/2020 program)

"Introduction to herbalism classes abound, but what is rarer and harder to find locally are more advanced classes. Jean's program fills this need beautifully, bringing together a wide variety of local herbalists and folks who want to take their plant based practices to the next level." - Lanen (2019/2020)

"This course was exactly what I was looking for in terms of really diving into the practice of clinical herbalism, assessment, and considering all of the body systems. I appreciated learning about how to become part of someone’s health team and the reference materials included in the course. Jean is an excellent, caring and personable teacher with extensive experience providing herbal care in a clinical context. They provide the skills you need in a relaxed and focused way that felt very supportive for learning."
